Cross-Border Fiber Links

Mozambique has recently installed two cross-border fiber optic cables to South Africa, providing alternative routes to standard subsea cables. One route passes through eSwatini, while the other goes through Komatipoort in Mpumalanga, South Africa. These dual routes ensure stability and resiliency, allowing uninterrupted communications in case of a cable outage.
