• Use protective conduit: In open wall cavities or high-traffic areas, flexible low-voltage conduit protects the fiber from accidental damage .
• Connector type: Pre-terminated single-mode fiber with SC/APC or LC connectors is commonly used for residential FTTH installations .

Connection to Home Network

The ONT is linked to your router or gateway via an Ethernet cable, distributing high-speed internet throughout the home . In some setups, a combined ONT/router device may be used, while larger homes may require additional mesh devices for full coverage .
