- Incoming Lines: Use a five-wire system for three-phase power: three-phase lines (A, B, C), neutral (N), and ground (PE). Connect the incoming lines to the appropriate terminals, such as air switches or circuit breakers .
- Outgoing Lines: Connect outgoing circuits according to load requirements. For 220V loads, use one phase, neutral, and ground. For 380V three-phase loads, connect all three phases plus ground, and neutral if local control is needed .
- Grounding: Ensure the metal shell of the distribution box is reliably grounded to the neutral or protective earth. All busbars and conductors should have proper insulation and protective sleeves where they exit the panel .

- Verify all connections visually and with a multimeter before powering on.
- Label all circuits and busbars clearly for maintenance and future upgrades.
